A few things. I don't to comment a whole lot on each proposal as I don't want to dissuade guys from making suggestions, but I do want to bring up that when the league was formed the ideas of using NL format and old time stadiums was discussed and ultimately neither was used. If you want to re-open those discussions, feel free.
That said, any ideas that you guys want to become rules. It is fine to throw them on this thread, BUT, I cannot read between the lines so to speak and come up with the rule wording for you.
If you have a rule proposal that you want voted on, word it EXACTLY as you want it to be placed into our bylaws should it pass. Leave no room for misinterpretation. Once you have your proposal correctly worded please EMAIL it to me, and I will post to be voted upon next week. Anything that says I think, or We should, will not be posted for vote.
EXAMPLE- I propose that all rule proposals be proposed only between the dates of October 1 and November 1.

I propose that we do away with the DH. My idea is actually very simple.
1. The pitcher would bat instead of having a DH.
2. The pitcher would be required to bat in the 9th spot in the order so as to not take advantage of excellent hitting pitchers such as Jason Marquis and Micah Owings.
3. Due to the complicated nature of the move and the fact that everyone manages differently, the 'double switch' would only be allowed in games where both managers are present whether that be face to face or through some means of computer. Otherwise the pitcher's spot will always occupy the 9th spot in the lineup.
- I really think this would not be difficult to implement at all and I think it would provide a more realistic version of how the game should be played. Obviously I am biased being from a National League town.

I propose that any owner, as long as he has fulfilled his commitment to the length of seasons required to play in one stadium, be allowed to move to any stadium that is in play with any current or past Dynasty seasons including The Greatest Teams Sets.
- Since I don't play the computer version I don't know which stadiums area available. It does seem as though this new on-line version Mike C. has introduced provides access to all stadiums.
- It's really pretty cool playing games in some of the old stadiums. My home stadium was Sportmans's Park(Busch I).
