I'm not sure how much of a push I am going to make for the playoffs, and the first 30-40 games might say a lot. But I am considering dealing away a couple of the pieces, and want to see what is out there....
I have 2 SS in Guzman and Cabrera. I'm more likely to deal Everth but if someone has an irrational love of Guzman, hit me up with an offer as well.
I have a surplus of corner OF types. I'm unlikely to deal the inexpensive Ethier unless you want to wow me, but I'd listen to offers on Ichiro and of course Soriano (who you could land cheap if you want to gamble that Rudy Jaramillo fixes him). Ditto on David Wright--I'd need 3b back, but I'll listen to offers.
And I couple potentially trade an arm like Burnett or Kawakami, or a pen guy like Francisco, Howell, or possibly Tejeda.
hit me up with offers--just seeing who is out there and what I might like.

Actually, I'd talk anyone. I just have this feeling that my team sucks balls.

I just have this feeling that my team sucks balls. Since nobody else is taking the bait, i'll go ahead and say that their team takes after it's owner!!

I'll listen to offers on Ichiro right now. He had a .352 average last year, lots of speed, and gold glove defense, so he won't be cheap. THIS IS NOT JUST A STRAIGHT SALARY DUMP! You are not doing me a favor by taking the perennial all star off my hands.
The bar has been set with the Burnett deal....a couple of guys with some real chance at success plus another guy who can help this year. In other words, if you have a guy you'd love to dump on someone, DON'T OFFER HIM! I am not dealing Ichiro for Milt Bradley.
