going into the draft, do we have to be at 25 or less players, or can we have guys in the minors as long as we are under 300 bucks? granted these guys wouldn't be freebies who could be reupped at 10 bucks for a year. .
just wondering

For the draft you have to be 25 guys or under signed. (If you have 25 you will not partake in the draft.) All minor leaguers not signed are released. The only exception is prospect picks which can be kept if they have not played (Not carded) in the majors... you can carry 3 prospects... again if you do you will by-pass the prospect phase of the draft. Everyone gets to have 5 new minor league players via the draft every year.
Hope that helps.

Just wondering: I traded 1 major and 1 minor leaguer to St. Pauli for 2 major leaguers. So now I have 26 major, and 4 minor. Now what?

Nothing... till pre-draft... then you have to get down to 25 (Or less) major players... so either trade at the end of the season, or don't re-sign someone or plain out release a player... lots of options. All Minors will be dropped...
