I have a question about prospects and have received different answers so I need the facts.
We had a 25 man roster, 5 minor leaguers, and 2 prospects... Plus we can carry over 1 prospect pick if they remain uncarded... What does that do to the above equation. Do we still have a 25 man roster, 5 minor leagues and now 3 prospects? Or do we not get to use our #2 prospect pick because that slot is taken but the carried over prospect player? Or do we loss our #5 minor league pick because it's now held by the prospect carried over?
Someone clarify this for me so I know what to do with Chris Carter...

my understanding is you can have 3 prospects and no more. You can cut a prospect if you like so you can make a pick in this year's prospect draft. Is that everyone elses?

so if we keep a prospect do we still get two prospect picks??? Yes. There is nothing in the rules that say you can't have 2 picks if you carry over 1 player. The only prospect rule is that you may never have more than 3 prospects on your roster.
