With 3 JAM starters(Webb, Felix, Greinke), a closer(Lidge) and 2 Clutch hitters(Aramis, Mauer), along with even more power(Uggla, Dye, Hawpe, Kemp)......ArchRivals are definitely making a run in 09.....
Could use another hitter, as well as a SS(good defense), maybe a leadoff man, and a reliable setup man......
Hochevar could be one that is a goner, Kotchman maybe as well....who knows who else.....

Do you have the nl clutches?
I squeaked out 2 jam's (Halladay and Guthrie), and 1 clutch (Teixeira). I have a lot of trading to do to make a run for it... because after those players there's not much else.
Good work on this posting... great info...

That's apparently all the NL clutches, there's all of 11 of them, while there's 19 in the AL. NL clutch A. Ramirez Cantu Uggla Berkman C. Lee Ethier M. Ramirez Delgado Howard B. Molina Pujols I squeaked out two JAMS myself (Peavy/DiceK), but my offense flat out sucks, so no CLUTCHES for me.

thx for that.
Your lucky the cubs are now alone in the Peavy sweepstakes... better hope the Nats don't try to snag him...

I am glad Houston is out of the running too Either way, it would suck if he were dealt out of the player pool, but with a guy at an exorbitant $69 contract, that's $69 free to dip back into the draft with. The real sucky part would be if you made a trade for a "steal" player - someone with great #'s for a minimal salary, like $1, who you traded someone of value for. Then you'd get your $1 back, but nothing else.

kinda bummed about Haren getting hosed (no symbols at all).... Lester is my only jam starter. K-Rod is a jam closer. clutches in Ethier and Quentin. But I'll still beat the Fallen Arches Rivals
